True to his Muppet namesake, this 2-year-old Brussels Griffon mix can be a bit of a grouchy old man at first. He is a discerning gentleman who prefers to take things slow and isn't a fan of being scooped up like a prop. In fact, Statler has one very firm rule for his fans: please don't pick me up! He prefers to keep his paws on the ground until he decides you’ve passed the audition. Once you’ve earned your way into his "inner circle," however, the reviews change from "one star" to "standing ovation." After he warms up at his own pace, Statler reveals his true, cuddly self and will happily hop into your lap on his own terms. With his irresistible, wiry Muppet hair and his endearingly grumpy expression, he is a total scene-stealer. Statler is looking for a patient family who understands that the best friendships are built on respect and a little bit of sass. If you’re ready to win over the toughest critic in town, Statler is waiting for his final act!
