Story
MEET VIRGIL! Virgil is an adorable Norfolk Terrier blend, approximately 1 year old and weighing 12 lbs. He is a loving little guy, though he may have experienced some rough treatment in the past. Occasionally, he shows signs of food aggression or discomfort when he feels forced to take medication or corrected. His defense mechanism is to snarl and snap although though he has never bitten. Because of this, it might be best for Virgil not to be placed with younger children. Although, he loves the Foster’s pre-teen and teen grandchildren. Virgil loves to play fetch and is crazy about chasing laser lights. He also loves riding in the car and is kennel trained. Virgil isn't a big barker unless he sees other dogs. He has a cute trick that might startle someone who doesn't know about it. When he wants your attention and you walk away, he gently jumps at the back of your legs. I call it his tackle! Sometimes Virgil wants to cuddle and lie with you, and other times he'll go to another room and sprawl on the floor. He also enjoys going for walks. He's very good about going outside to do his business. Virgil loves baths, blow-drying, and gentle brushing. He's a delightful little companion looking for his forever home!
