Meet Malcolm 🐾 Malcolm is a 2-year-old terrier who came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed. This little guy has a friendly, social personality and has been showing staff just how sweet he can be. Malcolm seems to get along well with other small dogs and enjoys their company. He’s comfortable being picked up and handled, and he’s happy to soak up attention from people. While he’s affectionate and outgoing in many ways, leashes are still a bit confusing for him. Malcolm tends to avoid being leashed and may become nervous once it’s on, sometimes stopping instead of walking. With consistent training, patience, and positive experiences, Malcolm can learn that leash walks are fun and safe. A patient adopter who’s willing to work with him and help build his confidence will go a long way in helping him succeed. Malcolm is a sweet boy with lots of potential, and with the right guidance he’ll grow into a wonderful companion ready to enjoy life’s adventures by your side. 🐶💛

Ryder is the total package! This sweet and lovable Cairn terrier mix is the definition of a loyal companion. With a laid-back, easy-going nature, Ryder is happy to hang out with you on the couch or play fetch in the yard — especially if there are doggie snacks involved! Ryder was rescued at 8 weeks old from Hesperia Shelter, with a sibling who passed from parvo soon after they arrived. Ryder never developed parvo and has been healthy since that time. He gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs, and his non-shedding coat makes him a great option for families who prefer less fur around the house. Ryder’s calm, affectionate, and loyal personality makes him an ideal addition to just about any home. He is microchipped, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
