He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but the moment you offer him a little kindness and attention, he warms up quickly and happily soaks up the love. He’s still working on his leash skills and hasn’t quite mastered walking on one yet—right now he much prefers being carried like the little prince he is! Born around March 10, 2025, this charming boy weighs only 10.0 pounds, making him a great small sized companion for a loving home. Mitchell came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so life hasn’t always been easy for him. Because of that, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him gently and offer slow, reassuring pets, you’ll see his guard melt away—and that’s when his affectionate side shines through. Sadly, Mitchell did not receive heartworm prevention earlier in life and tested heartworm positive. The good news is that he has already been treated and is doing well! My parents adopted Serenity after she was found abandoned for about a year outside her first owners home in 2020. She is sweet and puppy-like. She has a small amount of food aggression. My parents are both disabled, and we're moving them to be closer with us. We don't think it's wise to bring Rennie 1000 miles across the country at her age. She loves being held and snuggling, and she is so playful. She's great with other animals, the fourth image shows her playing with a younger dog.
