Story
Please read this post in its entirety. Please acknowledge that you have. Your response serves as your preliminary application. Please provide the requested information. I cannot stress that enough. I need more than "I want a dog, live in a house, and will love him/her".
Meet Dr. Scruffin Muffin, an approximately 2-year-old wire-haired terrier, perhaps a doxy mix weighing in at 13.5 pounds. This delightful lad will win your heart in a minute. When he first arrived to foster, he was nervous; he had to be carried here and there. Within 2 days, he was the life of the party with great bedside manners. He loves to play with his foster mates, toys, rides great in a car, and wants to be part of the family in all things fun. He has great potty manners, is not destructive- just an all-around neutral boy. Be aware, he can climb a baby gate like a monkey! He absolutely needs a secure fenced yard.
Tell us about you, your family, your activities, your property, fenced yard, the city you live in, other pets in your home, and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you, the better. What can this companion expect from you, and what do you expect from him? Additionally, we will not meet halfway. Please prepare to meet in person without hurry, and be willing to have a home evaluation and viewing of your social media. There is a fee for placement to offset medical and care. Age-appropriate placement is at the discretion of the guardian advocate. Please allow several or more days for a response, as I review inquiries. I appreciate your understanding—Raleigh's Rescue Advocacy. *DNA testing is not performed, and we can only give you an assumed breed or breed mix.
