Worth, Texas MY STORY: 🌟 “Scruffy, small, and stealing hearts one wiggle at a time!!!🌟 Scruffy was dumped outside of the shelter and it took the shelter staff an hour to catch him!! 😜 🥺He was scared the first day at the overflowing shelter so he ended up on the pre- euthanasia list! 🐶Scruffy is of the Norfolk Terrier persuasion and is about 2 years old, 16lbs and a little low rider! 😎Scruffy is a very sweet boy and is calm! He is housetrained and does well in a crate!! 🐶Scruffy gets along great with other dogs! He likes dogs close to his size. He can be cautious of strangers at first but will warm up once comfortable.💙 Want to meet this unique looking little fellow? Story
From the rough roads of Maypearl TX, Poppy is now living the good life at Flying B. Once skittish and fearful, she remembers what it was like to be a beloved family pet. She’s settled right back in to home life after being kicked out for having babies (we assume). Poppy excitedly greets us when we come home. She loves to cuddle and rest her paws on us during nap time. Poppy is also very treat motivated. She takes to her crate beautifully and is a really good girl. She does very well with dogs of all sizes after she’s had an appropriate introduction and knows they aren’t a danger to her or her puppies - and this includes playing with a 4 month old Great Dane, and 2 old grumpy chihuahuas. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers. We just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.
