You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Mikey! Mikey is a handsome cream-colored Norfolk Terrier mix with a sweet face and a gentle heart. Born around March 10, 2025, he weighs 12.9 pounds, making him a great little companion who’s just the right size for cuddles and adventures. Mikey came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the world outside of that environment is still a little new to him. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him slow, gentle pets, he relaxes and quickly realizes you’re a friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. Mikey is also very smart and eager to bond with his people. With a patient and loving family willing to give him the time he needs to build confidence, he will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. Mikey is still learning some basics, including how to walk on a leash, but with patience and encouragement he’ll get the hang of it in no time. If you’re looking for a sweet dog who just needs a little patience and a lot of love, Mikey could be the perfect addition to your family. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Mark! Mark is a handsome Norfolk Terrier mix with a beautiful red coat and an even sweeter personality. Born around March 11, 2025, this charming boy weighs 15.7 pounds, making him a great small-to-medium sized companion for a loving home. Mark came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so life hasn’t always been easy for him. Because of that, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him gently and offer slow, reassuring pets, you’ll see his guard melt away—and that’s when his affectionate side shines through. Sadly, Mark did not receive heartworm prevention earlier in life and tested heartworm positive. The good news is that he has already been treated and is doing well! He just needs to take medication for 30 more days to complete his recovery and get back to feeling his best. Mark gets along wonderfully with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He is very smart and eager to connect with people, especially once he feels safe. With a patient and loving family willing to give him time to adjust, he will grow into a loyal and devoted companion. He’s still learning some basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will quickly improve.
