Xena was surrendered to the shelter when her owner sadly passed away. She is 11 months old and has only known one home in her life, so it took a little while for her to adjust to shelter life. Xena can be aloof with new people and will possibly need several visits with potential adopters to form a bond before going home with them. She will need someone that is familiar with the Elkhound breed and can work with her on socialization. Xena would love to have a second chance at a loving forever home soon! Kobe is a handsome guy that would love to find out what a loving forever home is all about! He is around 3 years old and is a sweet guy! He loves getting attention and enjoys going on walks! Kobe must go to a home without cats and would do better in a home with older children. He does have a double coat that will need proper grooming several times a year to keep him looking his best! Kobe does know sit but needs to be worked with on other commands, he does like to work for tasty treats! Kobe has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/lyme tested (negative), and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter.
