We think Ella is Norwegian Elkhound and Shepherd mix.Ella was found at a trailer park in a heartbreaking condition—suffering from a severe skin infection and extreme neglect. She was scheduled to be euthanized at city shelter but fate had other plans. A rescue stepped in just in time, giving Ella the chance she so deeply deserved.Ella is living proof that resilience and love can transform even the hardest beginnings into beautiful new chapters.. With patience, love, and medical care, she made a stunning recovery. Her once painful skin condition has healed beautifully, and her gentle spirit shines brighter than ever. Despite everything she’s endured, Ella’s heart is full of love and joy. She’s smart, sweet, playful, affectionate, and always eager to please.Ella loves people, good with kids, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and has a knack for learning quickly—especially when treats are involved! She’s the perfect mix of sweet and silly, making her an amazing companion for a loving family ready to continue her happy new journey.Ella is located in Houston, Texas. After being found by a good Samaritan on a nearby highway with a severe leg injury, Russell underwent life changing amputation surgery and has since made an incredible recovery. He is full of life, happy, and resilient, and his joyful spirit shines through in everything he does. Russell loves being around people, gets along well with other dogs, and thrives on affection and companionship. This special boy is ready to leave his past behind and start his next chapter in a loving forever home. In a home setting, Russell does amazingly well. No accidents, no barking, and while he was a little nervous at first, he quickly settled in and slept through the night.
