Story
Xena was surrendered to the shelter when her owner sadly passed away. She is 11 months old and has only known one home in her life, so it took a little while for her to adjust to shelter life. Xena can be aloof with new people and will possibly need several visits with potential adopters to form a bond before going home with them. She will need someone that is familiar with the Elkhound breed and can work with her on socialization. Xena would love to have a second chance at a loving forever home soon!
