Hi, I'm Astrid, a one-year-old Norwegian Elkhound with a name that means "divinely beautiful," and honestly, I'm just trying to live up to the legend. I may start out a little reserved (a true Nordic princess must survey her kingdom first), but once I feel safe, my sweet and loyal heart really shines. I'm still young, so as I settle in and find my confidence, you'll see more of my playful, adventurous spirit come out-think Viking explorer, but fluffier. I'd love a patient, active home that will give me time to warm up, plenty of walks to show off my classic Elkhound strut, and fun things to keep my clever brain busy.
