BAGEL BOI!💙
We’re truly baffled that Bagel hasn’t been scooped up yet!… I mean just look at him with his new “Captain America” collar! He is truly a Superhero!
Growing up in rescue, he’s proven himself to be such a gem—an amazing dog with a huge heart, just waiting to share his love and companionship. Bagel is ready to find his perfect match through PAWS Rescue, Inc.
Bagel is the happiest pup you’ll ever meet, with a personality that will melt your heart. He is a blend of Carolina Dog/American Staffy that is almost 3 years old. He weighs 80 lbs and is working on getting 10 more lbs off to be at his ideal weight. His tail never stops wagging, he is just that excited about life! This big, lovable boy craves companionship, always eager to please with a big, goofy smile on his face.
Whether you are looking for an adventure buddy or a couch companion, Bagel is up for both! He loves going on walks, getting the zoomies in the backyard, and curling up in cozy blankets for a movie night.
Bagel is crate trained, potty trained, and has been working hard at training camp to refine his skills for a smooth transition into his forever home. Despite slight vision impairment from a head injury as a puppy, he navigates life with confidence, occasionally bumping into things in new environments but adapting quickly.
With proper introductions and management, Bagel would do well with another dog his size. He attends doggy daycare weekly, where he enjoys making friends and playing with his buddies. However, he is not suited for a home with cats, as he will chase them if they run.
While Bagel loves children, he would do best in a home with older kids who understand boundaries. He has shown some resource guarding with food and toys, which can be managed with separate feeding areas and supervised playtime.
Bagel needs a family committed to continuing his socialization and training to help him thrive. If you adopt him, you can even take over his Facebook page, Not So Little Bagel Bites!
