Story
Meet Bella: Bella is about a 7 year old (as of December 2025) Carolina Dog mix (best guess) that weighs about 27 pounds. Bella was one of 9 dogs confiscated by the Memphis Animal Services in a hoarding case recently. The dogs were all underfed and weak. Bella tested positive for heart worms and was going to be put down. We are thankful we got her just in time and could get her treatment so she can go on to live a happy life! Bella is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Bella is as gentle and affectionate a dog as you could find anywhere. Bella gets along with other dogs in a house with several dogs and walks reasonably well on a leash - with more exposure and opportunity on leash we feel confident she will master the concept. Bella doesn't bark or destroy furniture. Bella is just a wonderful dog who would be great with kids or cats or anything else that would give her the attention she deserves. Bella is currently house trained using a doggie door and may need patience while learning a new method. We would love for Bella to have a home with a fenced in yard so she can run and play freely. Bella is up to date on her shots and spayed. Bella is treated for heart worms and ready to live her healthy life.
