Honestly, no vet agrees — she’s a one-of-a-kind cutie and next on our DNA test list! ⚖️ Size: About 40 lbs 🚺 Sex: Female ✂️ Spayed: Yes 💉 Vaccines: UTD on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella 🧪 Health: Heartworm negative, microchipped, and current on heartworm & flea prevention 🐾 Gets Along With: ✅ Dogs: Loves other dogs — friendly with every dog she’s met ✅ Kids: Great with children ❓ Cats: Was previously fine with cats — we’re happy to cat test again if needed! 💔 Why She’s Looking for a Home: Penny was found as a stray and later adopted — but unfortunately returned when she grew bigger than the adopter expected. Now she’s ready for a forever home that loves her just the way she is. 🏡 Training & Preferences: ✅ House Trained: Yes 🏠 Crate Trained: Yes — but she does best with indoor/outdoor access (like a doggy door) as she still gets anxious in a crate when contained & left alone 💖 Personality: Penny is affectionate, upbeat, and eager to please. She has a sweet soul and just wants to be loved. Her energy level is moderate — she can be a little hyper at times, but she knows basic cues like “sit” and “down” and is very treat-motivated, making her a great candidate for further training. She walks beautifully on a leash and has shown nothing but friendliness toward everyone she meets — both human and canine. Penny would thrive in a home that can offer her companionship, structure, and the space to stretch her legs (and personality!). 📩 Interested?
