This dog is approximately a year old she is house trained, crate trained. She is also spayed. And current on shots and his micro chipped. My husband had heart surgery and she is just too much dog for us to handle and a risk of his health. We need her picked up ASAP. I need her picked up within the next 24 hours if possible. Rehoming fee is to cover the listing fee.

Ritz is a 6-month-old, 35-lb Carolina Dog mix who came to the shelter as a stray on 11/15. She’s a playful, energetic puppy with plenty of love to give and a sweet, affectionate personality.Ritz has loose, relaxed body language and is very treat motivated. She has already mastered the “sit” command and takes treats politely, showing that she’s eager to learn. She can get excited in her kennel, but has no issues with leashing or handling. Her leash manners are already pretty good for her age, especially considering she may not have had much formal training.Ritz hasn’t been dog-tested yet, so introductions to other dogs should be done carefully. She would thrive in a patient, loving home that can continue to guide her with positive reinforcement and help her grow into a well-mannered companion.As with any new pet, we recommend following the 3-3-3 guideline when helping Ritz settle into her new home: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn the routine, and 3 months to feel fully at home.

She’s an easygoing, fun, thoughtful dog who adapts well and genuinely enjoys life.
