Story
Monster might sound like a tough name, but don’t be fooled—he’s all heart! The grandchildren dubbed him "Monster" because of his size, not his personality (though he could probably scare off any bad vibes with those big, friendly eyes). He’s a big boy, but that just means more of him to love! This sweet giant gets along with other dogs, and we’re pretty sure he’d be a fantastic addition to any family looking for a loyal and loving companion. He’s the kind of dog who’s always ready to cuddle, hang out, and be part of the pack. Monster’s past hasn’t been the easiest. He was left behind when his owners moved away, but the neighbors, who had been feeding him, stepped in and gave him the care he needed. Now, he’s hanging out with Greta, our other foster dog, but his heart is set on finding that forever home where he can settle in and be part of the family for good. If you’re looking for a big, sweet boy to share your life with, Monster is ready and waiting. He’s got the love, the patience, and the loyalty to make your home complete. Will you be the one to give this gentle giant the happily-ever-after he deserves?

Story
Meet Apollo! Apollo is a 5-year-old, 24 lb Poodle/N.S. Duck Tolling Retriever mix with a gentle heart and a sweet spirit. He sadly lost his home through no fault of his own—after his family went through a divorce, Apollo had nowhere to go. Thankfully, a kind Samaritan stepped in and reached out for help, and now this deserving boy is safe in foster care and enjoying long, peaceful trail walks with his foster mom. Apollo is a kind, sensitive soul. He can be a bit shy at first, so he’ll thrive with someone who understands slow introductions and gentle handling. Once he feels comfortable, his loving personality really shines. He’s already bonded beautifully with the German Shepherd in his foster home—they have a blast playing together! This smart boy has already mastered sit, and he also knows lay down and look. Even better, he’s potty trained. Apollo loves car rides, exploring new places, and being part of the adventure. He even does the Toller scream when he gets excited! Apollo has been fully vetted, including a recent dental, and is healthy and ready for his next chapter. Due to his prey drive with small critters, Apollo will do best in a home without cats. Apollo is looking for a patient, loving adopter who will help him continue to blossom. If you’re searching for a loyal friend with a tender heart, Apollo may be the perfect match. We have Apollo’s official DNA: 17% Miniature Poodle 15% N.S. Duck Tolling Retriever 14% Russian Toy Terrier 14% English Shepherd 14% Staffordshire Bull Terrier 14% American Leopard Hound 12% Siberian Husky Please complete our adoption application at www.lovebugsrescue.org Adoption fee is $400 and includes neuter, microchip, vaccines current, deworming and flea treatment.
