Story
Meet Ginny — Your Loyal Golden Shadow Ginny is a beautiful 5-year-old Golden Retriever with a heart as golden as her coat. She’s the definition of a loyal companion, sticking right by your side wherever you go. Whether you're walking around the house, heading out for a car ride, or hopping on a boat, Ginny is all in. She loves to be close and will happily follow you from room to room with her soft teddy bear coat and sweet eyes. She’s not a fan of the crate, but she does beautifully with free roam of the house and has excellent house manners. She has great recall and rarely strays far. Her favorite pastime is playing fetch — she could chase a ball all day if you let her — and she’s learning to be gentle when taking treats, though we suspect she already knows the command. Ginny weighs 68 pounds and is a solid girl, though she isn’t the most enthusiastic eater. We’re still working on finding the magic meal for her, but she’s certainly not short on energy. She does need help getting into the car and doesn’t jump on furniture. She knows her basics like sit, shake, and come, and she gets along well with the resident dog in her foster home. Above all, Ginny just wants to be loved. She soaks up attention and affection, making her an incredible snuggle buddy and constant companion. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate girl who’s happy just being by your side or chasing a ball in the yard, Ginny is ready to fill that spot in your life and heart.
