Story
Hello! My name is Mika, and I am a 2-year-old Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix. I am shy around strangers but warm up quickly with lots of head scratches! I love being pet and will beg for more with my paw. My favorite past-time is sleeping on the couch after playing at the dog park. I’m super friendly and love all dogs of all ages and sizes! I take a little longer to warm up to men and can be skittish around male strangers, especially on walks. I’m also slightly protective of my home and will bark on occasion! *optional but free* dog kennel, toys, treats, dog food, programmable automated food bowl, gravity water bowl, harness, leash, and grooming supplies included

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Barnabas! This sweet senior gentleman has settled seamlessly into home life as a solo dog. House-trained & polite: Barnabas has impeccable indoor manners. He’s content napping on his bed or nearby on the floor, and he’s respectful of furniture. Easygoing: He enjoys life’s simple pleasures and rides like a dream in the car. Prefers to be your one & only: Barnabas isn’t reactive to other dogs, but he values his own space at home and will need to be the only dog in his forever family. Prey drive: Squirrels beware! Barnabas has a strong prey drive, so a secure, fenced yard is recommended. He listens well and returns quickly when called. Best home match: No cats, and no children under 12. He thrives in calm environments and does best with older kids who can respect his senior status. Calm, affectionate, and deeply loyal, Barnabas will be your devoted companion. Once he knows you’re his person, he’ll happily lay by your side, listen to the birds, and soak up every peaceful moment. Barnabas is ready to spend his golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness, and love. He truly is the best boy—who could ask for anything more?
