Valentine is full of energy and is fiercely loyal. She loves to cuddle and understands boundaries. Respect her and she’ll respect you. She had been abused before and will fawn if hurt, so please don’t yell at her. She is very smart and needs enrichment. Her teeth need some help so she is on special hard food that you will get. She is apprehensive with meeting new people once she is queen of the castle (protects your home).

Story
Valentine is a sweet, loyal, and very intelligent 9 y/o little lady and deserves to be pampered. She has a hard sturdy crate, soft carrier, harness & leash, food bowls, poop bags, shampoo, pet bed, and kibble food. She gets along with both cats and other small dogs. I have never seen her with large dogs so I cannot say how she might act. I am unsure about small children, as she has been with adults for the past 7 years. She is high energy and loves barking at postal carriers and Amazon delivery drivers! She takes her breed seriously and has actually killed rats (and even a scorpion). She does get nervous meeting new people but warms up quickly if given treats. She is a 13 pound cuddle bug and loves a good snooze in the sun. Yes, her birthday is on Valentine's Day, and she sports a heart shape on her forehead and side (easily visible when given a proper haircut). She loves to go on walks, have a bath, run around a fenced-in yard, and then take a nap preferably on your lap or close by!
