Story
IG Mix Izzy came to us from an Indiana municipal shelter. This is a nice girl who is good with other dogs & with people. She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 01/01/26 and she currently weighs 10.1#.She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Her adoption donation is $500 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. Story
Lola is a 9 year old Cavachon weighing about 30 lbs who came in as an owner surrender. She does have allergies but has been doing well with a monthly cytopoint injection and a special diet which keeps her scratching to a minimum. Due to her breed and allergies she will need to be groomed every 6-8 weeks.  She is currently on the Purina HA food and will need a family who can afford her food and monthly allergy shots. When not controlled, her allergies were so terrible she lived in a cone for years. She doesn’t deserve that again.   Even though she's nine, getting her allergies under control has given this girl new found energy. She loves car rides, going on walks (although she does occasionally pull when excited), and playing with other dogs. However, Lola's happiest when cuddling or being pet and will jump up on your lap if given the opening. No human is a stranger to her and she loves children, although too many crowding her does make her nervous. Lola gets along with the dogs in her foster home, but will make it known if they cross any boundaries or are too close. She has not been cat tested yet but could be on request. This girl is house trained (even letting you know when she's ready to go inside), is leash trained, does well with car rides, knows basic commands such as "sit" and "come", and is comfortable with being brushed and groomed. She is vocal, letting you know when she does not like or wants something and is very adept at giving side eye. Her ideal home is one that can shower her with attention and has a fenced in yard for her zoomies. This sweet girl is ready for her forever home where she can nap, cuddle, and be held.
