Story
Sadie is a pure-bred Mi-Ki (videos of the breed are available online), and I adopted her from a reputable breeder. She is about 12 years old, weighs about 4 pounds, and is extremely sweet and gentle. She's very calm and has zero aggression in her. She pretty much just lays around all day. She loves to sit on my shoulder and rest her head over the couch. She has a heart condition that is monitored with a yearly echocardiogram. She also has a chiari malformation but does not seem overly affected by it. She takes a few medications that are easy to administer once per day. It's important to know that Sadie was trained to use potty pads for the first 9 years of her life, and a dog trainer told me that there's no way to undo that training. Any carpet or rug on the ground, or a place that used to have a potty pad, she will go to the bathroom. However, she does know that she is supposed to "do your business" when we go outside. The problem is between trips outside.
