Story
Meet little Miss Shoog (short for sugar)! And yes, I am as sweet as sugar! I get along well with other dogs and even the kitty friends! I like kids too, but I just ask that they please be respectful and gentle as I am an older lady! I love to take walks and prance like a princess. I also love to soak up all the attention out in public! I get happy when I receive lots of love! I have the most adorable little skirt-like tail that sways back and forth as I prance. My long coat is so beautiful, but please remember that it also needs to be taken care of so I don’t get painful knots. I’m a rather quiet gal and don’t use my bark box too often. I don’t jump on the furniture very often either, but I do love to snuggle when you pick me up! Movie nights? Yes, please! I like to potty outside. It’s best if I get to go out every couple of hours, please and thank you! My tiny 11-pound body can only hold so much water weight! I know how to stay in my kennel, but I’d rather free roam the house and lay on a fluffy bed on the floor. You know the kind? The ones that look like a bed for a princess? I seem to fit into those perfectly! If I fits, I sits. One fun little misunderstanding I have is that when you ask me to sit, I will spin in circles or stand up and beg for a treat instead. Whoops, maybe my wires got crossed or maybe life it just more fun this way! Why sit when you can spin, right? I was told I’m about 10 years old, but I sure don’t feel like it. And I don’t look like it either. My beautiful mane and spring in my step keep me looking young! Do you see yourself spending days having fun in the yard with Shoog? Now’s your chance! Story
He is a rescue dog whose previous owner passed away beside him. Despite everything he has been through, he has been such a wonderful and loving dog. He is very friendly with kids and gets along great with other pets! He is a little scared of loud noises and severe weather, but he is otherwise a happy, sweet, and well-behaved dog. I’ve had him for two years, and he has been such a great companion. Unfortunately, I’ve been very busy lately, and I hate leaving him alone in my apartment all day. He deserves to live his adult life with someone who has more time for him—to enjoy the outdoors, have fun, and truly live his best life while embracing his Beagle nature.
