Meet Rollo!Rollo is a 1-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua / Papillon mix with a silky-soft coat and a personality that is just as adorable as he is! This little brown, black, and white spitfire came to CAWS through a lifesaving transport and is ready to find his forever family.Rollo is all puppy—playful, happy, affectionate, and curious. He loves toys, playing with his canine foster siblings, lounging on the couch, and cuddling with his people. He gives the sweetest little puppy kisses and will gently crawl up your chest to get as close as possible. He's not a big barker and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, male and female.Rollo is house-trained and crate-trained, although he shouldn't be expected to spend long periods in a crate. He would love a home with someone who works from home, can take him to work, or is retired and around much of the time.Because Rollo absolutely loves having a canine playmate, he must go to a home with another playful, dog-friendly dog. A securely fenced yard is also required so he can run, explore, and play.Rollo is a typical playful puppy and can be mouthy when playing, so he cannot go to a home with young children. Older, respectful children may be a good fit. He also enjoys chewing, so his family will need to keep tempting household items out of reach!His coat is incredibly soft, sheds very little, and doesn't require professional grooming—just regular brushing. Rollo was recently neutered and is currently taking it easy while he recovers.Rollo is a sweet, joyful, affectionate little guy who is ready to bring endless cuddles, puppy kisses, and fun to his forever home.
