Story
Charlie Jack was previously my mother's dog and I took him in when she passed away. He's incredibly loving, outgoing, and energetic but has bad anxiety and requires a lot of interaction. He is aggressive towards other animals at first but usually warms up to them over time. My brother had a Great Pyrenees and they were best friends. Charlie doesn't have any major medical issues but he does have itchy skin that I've been working with the vet to understand the cause. I currently have him on special food that would need to be continued. Also, he can be food aggressive if you ever feed him and then try to interact with him right after. I'm looking for a new home because I've realized that I cannot keep up with giving him the attention he deserves. He either needs a much more active family OR at least a companion dog to help him get pent up energy out.

Story
Yep, Gloria is giving all you people the stink eye. Why? She thinks nobody wants her because she happens to be 18 years old. But Gloria figures if senior citizens aren't too old to run for President, then they're not too old to be adopted. Sure, the vision and hearing aren't quite what they used to be, but she sees well enough to find a sunny spot in which to bask and to do a happy dance when you bring out the leash, meaning it's time for a walk. Plus, your fingers will love getting lost in her silky soft fur, and your lap will appreciate that she maintains a fit weight of 11lbs. by eating her prescription kidney diet food. She also takes arthritis medication daily to help guarantee that she'll continue enjoying those walks and the occasional car ride to nowhere in particular that she loves so much. Together both prescriptions cost about $50/month, and when you see how much she enjoy's life's small pleasures, you'll know it's worth every penny.   Gloria is reliably house-trained as long as you can take her out when she needs to go, a need which may occur in the middle of the night. Let's get rid of Gloria's stink-eye, and get this gal adopted. See more photos of Gloria at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/goldiegloria .   NOTE: Adopters should live close enough to Denham Springs, Louisiana, to make multiple visits in order to ease the transition to a new home. Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. Story
**Courtesy Post** Say hi to Goose! Here is a little 3 year old fun loving guy. He is ready for any type of activity. His new owner needs to be an energetic person who will keep him exercised, stimulated, educated, happy, interested, and loved. He longs for someone who understands him and his terrier personality. Goose likes kids but he is a little much for them. Goose requires a home with no cats, no little critters such as hamsters, bunnies, parakeets. Also, if you know Jacks, you know that they like to bark! Goose has a lot to say! He wants to make sure you are informed and protected! He’s neutered and very healthy. Goose needs a home with a securely fenced yard. No short chainlink. No electronic fencing. A home visit will be done before adoption. Hopefully his new owner will be home at least part of the time. He needs attention and training. If you are interested in “The Goose” please contact his owner at vic.hamilton01@gmail.com and they will email you an adoption application. There is a small rehoming fee.
