Chopper is a fun-sized bundle of personality looking for his forever home! This adorable little guy was surrendered when his owner fell on hard times and could no longer provide the care he deserves. Now Chopper is ready for a fresh start with a family who will love him for life.
At first, Chopper can be a bit hesitant and nervous when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you—once he realizes you’re a friend, he warms up quickly and becomes an affectionate, attention-seeking companion. When he’s comfortable, his energetic and playful side shines through!
Chopper would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, as he loves having the freedom to run and explore at his own pace. He hasn’t had much practice with leash walking, so he will need a patient adopter who is willing to help him learn that walks can be one of life’s greatest joys.
He enjoys spending time with his people and would likely do well with other dogs. While he has lived with cats, Chopper can be a bit over-the-top with his playful energy, so a cat-savvy home (and a tolerant feline) would be best - or no felines at all.
Chopper has lived with dog-savvy children, is crate trained (though he may protest vocally at times), and has shown a good understanding of house manners.

OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE.
