Meet Dawa:In November 2023, in the bitter cold of northern China, a rescuer found a starving pregnant dog searching for food—but when they returned with supplies, she had disappeared. Days later, the cries of newborn puppies led the rescuer to a construction site, where eight pups were found; tragically, three had already passed.Dawa was one of the five survivors.All were brought to safety, and Dawa later flew to Los Angeles in May 2024. She has since adjusted well in her foster home and is now spayed.Dawa is hoping for a patient, experienced, and loving family who can show her what it means to finally feel safe, relaxed, and cherished.$250 fee. ##2605194##

Meet Skye! Skye is a 7-year-old terrier/dachshund mix who found herself looking for a new home after her previous owner could no longer care for her. This sweet, silly girl has so much love to give and will keep you smiling with her goofy personality and love for toys. Skye enjoys playing fetch, doing little zoomies around the house, and then curling up in your lap for snuggles and kisses. She can be a little shy with new people at first, but she warms up quickly and shows just how affectionate she is. She’s good with other dogs and older kids, and while she hasn’t had much experience with younger children, she may do fine with proper introductions. Skye is also working on her potty training—she spent long stretches of time in an apartment before coming to us—but she’s improving every day with the help of her foster. Skye does have some environmental allergies (she’s been tested), which may occasionally require an allergy shot to keep her comfortable. Otherwise, she’s in great health and ready to find her forever family. Her foster says it best: “She’s one of those awesome dogs we get every now and then, so we hope she gets the perfect match.” Could Skye be the perfect match for you? ChaCha and her littermates were born into rescue on June 1, 2025.  Mom is a 16lb min pin mix and we are unsure of what dad is. They will be small breed dogs.  ChaCha is a little different than her siblings but is still a very happy puppy. She has been seen by the vet and bloodwork didn't show anything. Our vet said that since she has shown so much improvement since birth he wouldn't do any further testing at this time. However, Chacha does have some special needs which cause her to engage in some circling behavior that looks like she is dancing the Cha Cha! The vet thinks it's possible that ChaCha might have gotten less nutrients or oxygen in the womb and now that she is getting plenty of food and good care her body is getting back to the way it should be. She is a soft little cuddle bug with a calm demeanor.
