Story
Meet our sweet little Pansy she is as adorable and pretty as the flower she is named after! She is a darling 8-9 year-old, 7.7 pound, white, Bichon Poodle mix. She was born to be a companion and she wants to be your best friend. She was brought to AFC as a stray and never claimed by an owner. She was in rough shape when she got to us. She has bothersome teeth and Mammary tumor. Tumors are COMPLETELY avoidable by being spayed! PLEASE SPAY & NEUTER your pets!! When she doesn’t have your lap to sit on, she nestles into a pile of blankets. She doesn’t show interest in toys or playing but could change in a home environment. Her favorite thing to do is sleep on the bench in our lobby so please be ready to share your couch or chair with her. She seems to be house broken and will use potty pads. She goes outside when asked to “Go Potty” Pansy needs regular professional grooming to look her best. She is scheduled to be spayed, dental and tumor removal. She is microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Are you ready to give this sweet girl her happily ever after? Her medical care is being started and will cost us appx $1000 to $1,200.00 if you are able to make a donation to our organization please do! We can’t help dogs like Pansy without assistance from the public. . If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. Story
Beautiful Bella deserves her happily ever after! She is a 2-year-old, 24 pound, black and white, scruffy, Lhasa Apso ? terrier mix. She is definitely unique and only a DNA test can tell us what she really is. Bella was found on the street lying with her deceased mate. She stayed by his side for days until a good Samaritan took her home. It was not long before he noticed her belly growing. She gave birth in her foster home and now needs her own home. The puppies were all adopted. She’s a shy but affectionate girl. She loves neck rubs and back scratches. She will give you her nose for some scratches too! She will need some house training. She did well with another dog in her foster home (she would go to the door to signal she wanted out) She has some accidents when in a new environment. She will walk on a leash but she needs some training. She is spayed, micro chipped, vaccinated, dewormed and flea treated. This lovely girl will make a perfect addition to your family! For her comfort Bella must have a home with another dog or two! Even though she doesn’t want to play (much) she likes the company of other dogs.
