Meet Muggsy! 🐾💙 This adorable **2-year-old, 15-pound Pekingese** is as loving and sweet as they come. While he looks very much like a Pekingese to us. This precious little guy has already been through so much, but through it all, he’s remained gentle, affectionate, and full of heart, but sometimes a little grumpy too. 🥹💕 When Muggsy came to ACT, he was completely covered in painful foxtails that had worked their way into his skin and caused him a great deal of discomfort. Thanks to lots of love, patient care, and help from both our veterinary team and the staff here at ACT, he’s finally starting to feel relief. He may still have a few foxtails work their way out over time, but each one that surfaces means he’s feeling a little better and more comfortable. 🩹✨ Right now, Muggsy is sporting what can only be described as a **very stylish haircut** thanks to all the care he needed—and honestly, he wears it well! 😂 His fluffy coat will grow back, but his sweet personality is already shining through. Muggsy is looking for a home **without small children**, where he can enjoy plenty of love, comfort, cozy naps, and all the attention this charming little gentleman deserves. 🏡🐾💕

Meet Mr. Fabio (AKA Mr. Fabulous)! Since fostering him, I've had the pleasure of watching this sweet gentleman who has spent years perfecting the fine art of being the ultimate companion. He absolutely loves pets, cuddles, and—above all—food! If you'd like to skip the potty training and chaotic puppy energy, you'll love having a lovable older guy whose manners are already fully included. In our home, he loves to follow me around from room to room, settling down right next to me to wait for our next adventure. And when he gets excited? He is delightfully goofy! He has been wonderful with the other dogs in my home. He’s super dog-friendly and has done amazingly well with my bossy little Min-Pin, my shy girl, and even my sister’s energetic puppy. As his foster, I can confirm he’s both potty trained and crate trained, and he mastered using our doggy door in no time. We’ve been working on his leash manners—he still needs a little practice, but he is doing so much better than when he first arrived. If you're looking for the true love of your life, please give my sweet foster boy, Mr. Fabio, a chance!
