Story
Hi, I’m Charlie Brown — a 1year7monthold, 15pound Pekingese-Miniature Poodle (Peek-a-Poo) blend with the same softhearted sincerity that made my cartoon namesake famous. I’m gentle, curious, and a little sensitive, and I warm up quickly to kind women and kids. I’m ready to bring my wiggly, earnest joy to a home that appreciates a sweet boy with a classic name and a touch of Peanuts charm.
Favorite Things: Charlie delights in cozy companionship and happily curls up with his people whenever invited. He enjoys playing and has a goofy habit of turning keepaway into a game that always ends with him trotting back for affection. He settles beautifully at night and finds comfort in sharing space with the humans he trusts most.
Training and Manners: Charlie is housetrained when let out frequently and settles easily into a home’s rhythm. He sleeps soundly through the night and enjoys quiet downtime with his family. Car rides bring out his bright, tailwagging enthusiasm. His leash skills are still developing — he pulls when excited — but with steady practice he’ll gain confidence. His manners are sincere and sweet, and he responds beautifully to calm, encouraging guidance.
Health and Care: Charlie Brown is a healthy little guy! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He’ll just need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. As a Poodle blend, he benefits from regular professional grooming to keep his coat soft and tidy.
Other Animals: Charlie Brown does well with small dogs and enjoys their company when interactions are calm and respectful. He hasn’t been tested with cats, though his gentle nature suggests he may coexist well.
Children: Charlie Brown is wonderful with children of all ages, especially those who give him a little time to settle fully.
Ideal Home: Charlie Brown feels happiest in a home where someone is around often, as companionship helps him thrive. He can relax when left alone, but he truly shines with regular interaction. A womanmajority home suits him best, though patient men can earn his trust. He does well in calm environments that allows him to build confidence at his own pace.
Overall: Charlie Brown is a tenderhearted, playful young dog who brings warmth and joy wherever he goes.
