Pugsley: Pugsley is an affectionate, 3-year-old male Pekingese who loves daily walks, sniffing in the yard, and learning for treats! He is fully vaccinated and looking for a dedicated home due to his owner's medical reasons.Ideal Home:Adult Males Only: He is not comfortable with women or young children.Only Pet Preferred: Can coexist with small female dogs; unknown with male dogs/cats.Secure Yard: Required for his safe, outdoor explorations.Special Care:Behavior: Exhibits food/toy resource guarding. Needs an experienced owner to feed him separately and manage high-value items.Mobility: Has mild IVDD. Needs a mix of secure playpen time and supervised free-roaming to prevent furniture jumping and protect his back. Please message us with any question

Story
Levi is a special needs boy AND WANTS TO BE WITH YOU ALL THE TIME! He is a sweetheart with a heart full of love for his person and a great personality. He is a talker and strives hard to communicate. Though he does well with other dogs, he would do best as the only dog in the home and with someone who is retired or works from home and does not get much company. He is not socialized with people and needs slow introduction. He does not like change or strangers, so routine is a must! Because he is special needs, his mind works just a little bit slower before he grasps a new concept or command but he is eager to please and very trainable. Levi does well for himself, but does have a weak back leg that sometimes prevents him from jumping on your lap or furniture. It is not a health issue and does not cause any pain. Levi has a very thick undercoat and will require experienced, professional grooming services every 6-8 weeks.. He is a 3.5 year old Bichon Frise, approximately 21 pounds, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE… you must be able to honor a lifetime commitment to Levi as a family member and spoil him with an exceptionally wonderful life.
