Meet Murphy!
Have you ever wondered what happens when you mix a little bit of everything into one adorable package? Murphy's DNA test revealed he's 52% Maltese, 13% Russell Terrier, 10% Pekingese, 9% Poodle, and 6% Parson Russell Terrier. We like to think the remaining percentage is made up entirely of fun, devotion, and a dash of mischief!
Murphy came to Fur Fun Rescue after his previous family realized they could no longer keep up with this energetic little guy. They loved him enough to make the difficult decision to find him a home where he could enjoy more adventures and attention.
Murphy has always been the only dog in his home, and that's exactly how he likes it. He forms a deep bond with his people and wants to be your loyal sidekick through every part of the day. Whether it's going for a walk, taking a ride in the car, or simply hanging out together, Murphy is happiest when he's with his favorite humans.
Playtime is where Murphy's personality really shines! He enjoys dog toys, but his favorite game is "Catch Me If You Can." If your home has a circular floor plan, even better! Murphy loves racing around the house, changing directions when you try to intercept him. His joyful zoomies and playful spirit are guaranteed to make you laugh.
Murphy would love a home where someone is around most of the time. While he enjoys constant companionship, he is kennel trained and does well when you need to be away.
When the day winds down, Murphy transforms into a wonderful cuddle buddy. He loves sleeping next to his person at night, making sure you're never alone. During the day, however, he takes his job as neighborhood watchdog very seriously. Those sneaky UPS and Amazon delivery drivers don't stand a chance of approaching your home unnoticed!
A securely fenced yard is a must for Murphy. He enjoys being outside to play, but don't expect him to stay out there by himself; he'd much rather have you outside with him. For Murphy, every adventure is better when it's shared.
Murphy is 6 years old and weighs 16 pounds. Murphy is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, heartworm tested, and microchipped. He's ready to trade his suitcase of memories for a lifetime of new adventures with a family who will cherish his playful heart and devoted spirit.
