Meet Bubba — a Sweet Senior Gentleman Looking for His Soft Landing Bubba is a 10-year-old male Pekingese mix with the gentlest little soul. He came to UPAWS after his beloved owner passed away, along with another dog. Losing his person and his home has been a lot for this small senior boy, and he’s doing his best to understand this new chapter.Through it all, Bubba has remained incredibly friendly and trusting. He’s a social little guy who enjoys company, calm moments, and—of course—snacks. His tail wiggles when he feels safe, and he warms up quickly to anyone who shows him kindness.Bubba appears to have a mild eye issue, so he’ll need someone who can keep his eyes clean and stay on top of his vet care. Because of this, we ask that adopters have an established veterinarian.He’s looking for a quiet, loving “retirement home” where he can enjoy soft beds, gentle routines, and people who will adore him the way he deserves.If you’d like to meet Bubba, please fill out an adoption interest form on our website at upaws.org and schedule an appointment. If a meet-and-greet is set, we kindly ask that you bring your whole human household and any resident dogs to ensure it’s the perfect fit.Bubba lost so much when his person passed… now he just needs someone to help him feel safe and loved again.Pet Adoption Sponsorship from Eric Hagstrom.
