Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Obi joined our rescue on January 13, 2026, through absolutely no fault of his own. He was surrendered when his owner had to go to jail—a heartbreaking situation, as it’s clear Obi was deeply loved. His owner was very upset about having to give up her pets, and we promised we would find him a wonderful home! Obi is estimated to be around one year old, a Lhasa Apso/Poodle (Lhasapoo) mix, and weighs about 20 pounds. While he hadn’t received prior veterinary care, he is now on the right track: he will be examined by our vets and receive vaccines on 1/19, with his neuter scheduled for 1/26. This sweet boy is an absolute joy! Obi is happy to see everyone he meets and does wonderfully with kids, dogs, and cats. He has a loving, friendly personality that makes him easy to fall in love with. Although he was clearly well loved, Obi didn’t receive much formal training, so we are currently working with him on crate training, house training, and leash walking. He’s eager, sweet, and learning more every day—he’ll thrive with a family willing to continue his training and give him the stability he deserves. Obi is ready for a fresh start and a forever home full of love. Obi will be current on vaccines, preventative, fecal, neutered and microchipped for his new family. The adoption fee is $450.If you are interested in this precious doggy, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org.
