Story
Meet Lil Angus
This young pup is a great dog. We rescued Lil Angus from a shelter euthanizing for space a couple of years ago. He was adopted quickly and recently returned after a year when his dad said he was moving and couldn’t take him with him. He did nothing wrong, except get in the way of the person who was supposed to love him forever. But Lil Angus is meant for a better life with a person or family who understands that dogs are not disposable, they are a lifetime commitment. Lil Angus has rebounded from his recent rejection and he’s once again the fun-loving pup who wants to be someone’s best companion.
Lil Angus is about 2.5 years old. He’s a 30 lb. low-rider, with a gorgeous glossy black coat, a white blaze and fun-loving and warm brown eyes. Our best guess is that he’s a Welsh Corgi mixed with lab but we just don’t know. He has a sunny, friendly and outgoing demeanor packed into a perfectly small body. Lil Angus has lived in an apartment for a year, but a home with a fenced yard would be best for him. He’s well-mannered. He’s house-trained and crate trained. He walks well on a leash. He enjoys car rides. He likes other dogs and he loves people. We’ll test him with kitties. Lil Angus can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, he’s a happy, bubbly, out-going pup with a gentle demeanor. Angus enjoys running in our fenced yard and saying hello to his doggie friends. He travels well in a car and likes to be out and about. He’s the perfect companion for leisurely strolls, long hikes, lunching with friends, sitting on your porch, or snuggling on the couch with a good book or TV. He is a wonderful companion. His former owner said he was perfect; he just couldn’t make room for him. Lil Angus will be a wonderful companion for a loving person or family. If you are looking for a great dog to welcome to your heart and home, Lil Angus has it all and is ready to go home.
