This handsome and happy fella is searching for a forever family to love him as much as he deserves. He is wonderful with people, kids, dogs, and even cats, making him the kind of easygoing companion who can fit beautifully into just about any loving home. We've been told Rusty is housebroken and crate trained, and he also rides well in the car—so he’s ready to be your co-pilot for all of life’s adventures.     Sadly, Rusty’s world was turned upside down when his former owner, who is battling terminal cancer, decided to surrender him. It’s a heartbreaking reason for any dog to lose the person they love, but we’re determined to help Rusty find a new family who will show him that his best days are still ahead. This sweet boy has so much love left to give. All he needs now is someone willing to open their heart and promise him a forever home.  Apply today and don't let this one get away! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org.Sponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/. Donations help us offset boarding costs and additional medical treatment for those dogs who need it.  K-9 Lifesavers receives NO federal funding and survive with your generous support! For more information on K-9 Lifesavers, or to view a complete listing of all our Adoptable Dogs, visit our website at https://k-9lifesavers.org/adopt. Please “like” our Facebook Page for the most current events and new dogs.Thank you for considering a rescue dog! ##2833716##

🌟 Meet Eeyore: The Pint-Sized Explorer! 🌟 Are you looking for a loyal, low-riding sidekick to join you on life's adventures? Look no further than Eeyore! As you can see in his pictures this handsome little guy is sporting a stunning black-and-white coat, short Corgi-like legs, and a great big smile. Eeyore is the perfect size—all the cuteness of a puppy packed into a compact, sturdy frame that’s ready to explore the great outdoors. 🐾 Personality & Traits 🐶 The Ultimate Friend: Eeyore absolutely loves other dogs! 😺 Feline Friendly: He is a rare gem who loves cats, too—his favorite hobby is giving them gentle licks and trying to play. ❤️ Sweet & Gentle: He can be a little shy at first when meeting new people, but don't let that fool you. He has a very sweet, submissive, and gentle nature. Once he knows he's safe, his fierce loyalty shines through. 🧭 Adventurous: He’s a curious little explorer who loves sniffing through the grass and taking in the world. 🚨 Puppy Reminder: Commitment & Training Please remember that adopting a puppy is a big, lifelong commitment! While Eeyore is incredibly sweet, raising a puppy takes a lot of patience, time, and dedicated training to help them grow into their best possible self. If you have the time to invest in his structure, socialization, and training, he will reward you a thousand times over. 🚨 (He is neutered, Microchipped and vetted.) 🏡 The Ideal Home Eeyore would thrive in a patient home looking for a loyal, affectionate companion. Because he gets along so wonderfully with other animals, he would be a fantastic addition to a multi-pet household. If you have the time to dedicate to puppy training and a brief "getting to know you" phase, Eeyore will be your ultimate shadow! Ready to make Eeyore a part of your family?
