Story
Meet Sandy! This cutie came into CHS when her previous owners could no longer have her. Quite overwhelmed in the shelter, Sandy is looking for her forever family ASAP. She can be quite shy initially so a home with older kids that can help with her transition in the home would be ideal. Sandy LOVES treats and the way to her heart is through food. If you're looking for a spunky, playful girl, come meet Sandy today! Primary Color: Blue Merle Weight: 19.2 Age: 3yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Some dogs are best friends. Azula and Juno are sisters, teammates, and lifelong co-stars — affectionately known as “The Hams” (and yes, they respond when you call them that 😉). These bonded corgi girls have never been apart, and they don’t plan to start now. Well-trained, playful, and full of personality, they are the perfect mix of brains, bounce, and heart. They love water (yes, water-loving corgis!), enjoy long walks, and are happiest when they’re outside exploring, wrestling, and working together to tire themselves out. Azula and Juno are social butterflies in sturdy little bodies — they love dogs of all sizes and are confident, friendly companions. They do best with children over 10, as they are active and enthusiastic in true herding-dog fashion. Speaking of herding… if you have cats, please know that supervising feline activity is something they consider a full-time career. It’s less “aggression” and more “occupational dedication.” And while they are energetic and playful, they also hold the title of Best Snugglers. After playtime, “The Hams” happily collapse into cozy, affectionate cuddle mode together — and preferably with you. These girls are well-loved and well-trained. They are ready to bring joy, structure, laughter, and twice the loyalty to the right forever home. Why Adopt a Bonded Pair? Because you’re not getting twice the chaos — you’re getting built-in balance. Azula and Juno entertain each other, exercise each other, and provide comfort to one another. They wrestle, zoom, and burn off energy together, then settle down side by side. They transition more smoothly because they already have their constant. For many adopters, bonded pairs like these two are actually easier — especially when they’re already trained, social, and emotionally stable. You don’t just adopt two dogs, you adopt a ready-made team. The Azula & Juno Breakdown Breed: Pembroke Welsh Corgis Bonded Pair: Yes — must be adopted together Nickname: “The Hams” Energy Level: Active & Playful Leash Skills: Enjoy walks Training: Well-trained Dog Compatibility: Love dogs of all sizes Cat Compatibility: Will enthusiastically herd them Kid Compatibility: Best with kids 12+ Favorite Hobby: Outdoor play, water adventures, and tiring each other out Overall Vibe: Athletic, joyful, snuggly dynamic duo Azula & Juno are female Welsh Pembroke Corgis who were born 3-22-23. They are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $800 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. ***If you are serious about adopting, you must first complete and submit an application on our website. Our Adoption Team will respond via email from DollysLegacyAdoptions@gmail.com once you have completed an application. If a pet is still listed, it is not yet adopted as we update daily. We got Ellie 5 1/2 years ago from a breeder. She will be 6 on July 5th. Ellie has lots of energy and loves the attention just on her. She does good with other dogs. She may do well with older kids but unsure.
