Story
Nugget is a very social corgi. He loves attention and needs a lot of enrichment. This is often needed to be given in mental stimulation or short walks as he tore his CCL in 2021. He is obsessed with fetch but cannot play it often due to the previous injury however he still asks to often. He is so sweet with my kids. We are having to rehome him due to my daughters serve eczema and allergies and also we think he would be happier with someone who can dedicate a lot of attention to him. He is 9 years old so he’s slowed down a lot, but in corgi terms that doesn’t always mean much. He is still very active but will nap or sleep when you sleep. He loves to be outside and also snuggle on the couch. He’s very very smart and house trained. He does currently get a monthly Liberla shot for hip pain that we’ve found effective in pain management. He is good with other dogs for the most part. He loves to talk (aka bark) and you always know exactly what he wants. We love him very much.

Story
Hi, I’m Smalls I’ve been waiting a few months now for my forever family, and I just know they’re out there. I’m a sweet, silly girl with a big personality packed into one lovable pup. When I get excited, I might do a little hop or jump—I just can’t help myself, I’m happy!I’m fully housetrained, walk nicely on a leash, and I know how to sit. I don’t tear up toys or get into trouble, and I don’t have separation anxiety. I do like to keep tabs on my people though—I’ll happily follow you from room to room, and if I can see you but can’t reach you, I might let out a little whine just to remind you I’m here.I can be a bit shy at first with new people, especially men, but I’m friendly and warm up quickly. I’m gentle and curious around children, friendly with dogs of all sizes, and even polite with birds and squirrels. My current best friend is a dog twice my size, and we have a blast together. One of my favorite things in the whole world is snuggling. Blanket caves are my absolute dream, and I would be more than happy to curl up in your lap, snore softly, and keep you company during a long, quiet movie night.I’m playful, affectionate, curious, and full of love. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who wants to be part of everything you do—and especially part of your cozy moments—I might just be your Smalls. My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays

Story
Almost 7 years old, Scrappy came to us as a 9 mo old puppy in Oct 2016. He was found with his litter mates in a trash bin. He has severe possession issues and has been in 6 homes in the 6 years we have had him. He is a sweet boy, but you cannot take toys, food, or anything he thinks is his, away from him. He is not a candidate for a home with children. His ideal home would be with a single person who is an experienced owner who will understand and accept his limits and not try to `fix` him.
