Story
Wait for it....wait for it.....surprise! It's me, Colby, the stubby dog of your dreams! If you couldn't tell, I'm a cute Corgi. In my previous life, I was a breeder pup, but clearly I was well loved there because not only was I fed well, hence my thick little body, but I was also shown love because I have such a calm, sweet demeanor.Currently, I am in a foster home with younger kids and 3 other dogs and let me tell ya, I'm a good boy! I actually really enjoy being by the kids. Since I'm a little overweight, I can't always get up on the couch by you or up a high step, so it requires you to give me a little lift. Doing so will likely cause us both to grunt, but in the end we will be ready for a little nappie-poo together. As far as toys go, I really haven't figured out what "playing" entails yet, though one of the other dogs in the home have encouraged me to loosen up a bit. It may just take time for me to realize what a proper dog toy is because I tried to take a sock once, but apparently that wasn't okay. Who the heck knew? House training hasn't been terrible. As I navigate living in a completely new environment, I'm still learning the rights and wrongs. I wear a belly band currently so I don't try to mark. So far, it's helped a lot! Now, that that's all out of the way, I think it's safe to say that I'm ready to find a forever home where I can be loved and taught what it's like to just be someone's little cheese ball! Are you ready to meet me yet?!Apply here: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adoptName: ColbyD.O.B: 07/26/2020Breed: CorgiSex: MaleWeight: 47.6 lbsAltered: YesAdoption: 500Fostered at: Black River Falls, WIGood with Cats: I'm unsure, but I think I may try to chase them!Good with Dogs: Yes, I enjoy the company of other dogs.
