To say that Dutch has been on quite the journey would be an understatement! It took this handsome `lap lump` some time to recover, but he`s making up for it by putting his best paw forward! Dutch is an exceptionally cuddly, friendly, and social boy who will quickly make your lap his new favourite spot to sleep. He even got along with his former foster parent`s young grandchildren as long as they gave him the good scritches! He`s also got a playful side as he will carry around his stuffed mice to ask for more playtime! Dutch`s love for adventure does get him into some trouble though, and he has a history of escapism. This will need to be closely managed to help prevent roaming and to keep him safe.With his long fluffy fur, Dutch would benefit from extra grooming, although he`s still not quite a fan of when the brush reaches his back end. It was also noted that he got along well with the former foster parents resident cats after the proper slow introductions! The most important thing to know about this delightful cat is that he needs daily medication and a special hypo-allergenic diet to help combat his allergy issues. Dutch has a grade 3 heart murmur, which can be further assessed by his adopter’s regular vet. But to have Dutch by your side, it will be so worth it!
