Persian kittens & cats in Lloydminster, Alberta

Hi, I'm Lynne! You might notice that I'm sporting a bit of a different look right now! I'm normally a beautiful long-haired black and white girl, but when I arrived at the shelter as a stray, my coat was covered in painful mats. To help me feel much more comfortable, the staff gave me a fresh shave. Don't worry though—my gorgeous fluffy coat will grow back before you know it! I'm a super sweet girl who enjoys being around my people, but I'm more of a "co-exist together" kind of cat. I'm not one to spend all day curled up in your lap because I'm usually too busy exploring, checking out what you're up to, or wandering around the house. I love being part of the action and will happily greet you with a little "hello" or "good morning" to start your day. I'm independent, curious, and affectionate in my own way. So far, I've done well with the calmer cats here at the shelter, especially those who respect my space and aren't constantly in my face. I've also shown good responses to the dogs here at the shelter. I don't seem to mind their presence and have been calm during my introductions, though I'd likely do best with respectful dogs who will give me the time and space to settle into my new home. I come spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, so all I need now is a loving home where I can let my beautiful coat grow back and spend my days exploring by your side.

Hi, I’m Kathrine! I’m a long-haired black and dark brown kitty with a soft coat and an even softer heart. Not too long ago, I found myself wandering as a stray, scared and very pregnant, just looking for a safe place to rest. Thankfully, kind people took me in and gave me the care I needed. Soon after, I gave birth to my beautiful kittens in the safety of the shelter. Now that my babies are growing up, it’s finally my turn to be cared for and loved. I’m a total snugglebug—seriously, cuddles are my favorite thing in the world. I just want a cozy spot to curl up, gentle hands to pet me, and someone to remind me every day that I’m safe and home for good. I’ve done well with the other cats here at the shelter and enjoy having feline friends around. I’ve also had the chance to meet some dogs and have shown good reactions during those introductions. With slow and respectful introductions, I could likely enjoy having other furry friends in my new home. I’ve been through a lot, but all I’m looking for now is a loving home where I can give and receive unlimited affection.
