💕 Meet Girlie! I am so pleased to introduce you to a really special and unique kitty cat...me! My name is Girlie and yes, I am a girls girl! I’m not going to mince words, I’ve been through it. I’m a 9-year-old calico who’s part fighter, part princess, and 100% love bug. I once had a wonderful home and a kitty best friend, but when my friend went missing and my guardian had to move several times, my world fell apart. I became anxious, scared, and started having accidents outside the litter box, my way of saying, “I’m not okay.” Listen, I'm not embarrassed to admit that. I am a cat, I cannot speak human language, and this is how we communicate that something is wrong. Life didn’t get easier, things only got worse. I got very sick and was finally brought to High Country Humane, where the amazing medical and behavior teams have helped me heal, find comfort, and remember what it feels like to be safe. I’m affectionate, love to be brushed, and will curl up in your lap once I trust you. I’m on medication to help manage my anxiety, and while I might always have accidents, my heart is pure gold. I’m just waiting for someone to see me, to love me as I am. I am hoping your love of me will outweigh those little mistakes here and there.
