Meet Omen, our fluffy little house panther with a heartbreaking beginning and one seriously BIG personality.
Omen is now the third kitten we’ve had this season who was found locally after being thrown from a moving vehicle. It is absolutely sickening that we can even write that sentence, let alone that we’ve had to write it three times. Somehow, despite what someone did to him, Omen has moved forward with the confidence, curiosity, and mischief of a kitten who knows he belongs here.
And apparently, Omen has decided he is a hunter.
He stalks birds through the windows, watches everything that moves, and is constantly investigating the possibility of getting outside. His foster captured the perfect scene one day: Omen was stalking the birds, the baby was stalking Omen, and the dog was stalking the baby. Just a completely normal day in foster life.
For all his mighty predator behavior, Omen has an incredibly soft baby side. He loves soft blankets and will knead and suckle on them as though they’re his mama. It’s one of those little behaviors that reminds you that underneath all that confidence, he’s still just a baby who finds comfort wherever he can.
And don't let his photos fool you! Omen often photographs as a solid black kitten, but in person he has a gorgeous long-haired smoky coat with silver-blue coloring throughout his undercoat and belly. As he grows and that fluffy coat develops, his coloring is becoming even more beautiful.
Omen is adventurous, affectionate, curious, goofy, and endlessly entertaining. After everything this little guy survived, he deserves a safe indoor home where the only birds he ever has to chase are from the other side of a window.

Omen survived something no animal should ever experience. Now we're looking for the purrfect family to make sure the rest of his story is nothing but safety, love, ridiculous kitten antics, and the furever home he deserved from the beginning.
