Story
Imagine being abandoned in unfamiliar territory with loud sounds all around. That's what happened to these three beautiful kittens. One of our foster moms found them huddled under a picnic table at the local park. She had gone to walk her dog and discovered cats that had never been there before. Of course, no one claimed them. And of course, we know how they got there. Unable to leave friendly cats huddled in fear... the foster mom took on three more lives. She brought them home and bathed them to get rid of the fleas. For now, we will call them Uno (male) Dos (white female) and Tres (black female). We are unsure if one is just a very young mother, or perhaps they are all siblings. They are being worked in for their veterinary needs and available for adoption through our organization. They are beautiful, long haired cats, and we can't imagine. They will wait long to be adopted. They've been through a lot, and they will require homes that have a level of understanding about the trauma they've been through, and the patients to give them the time they need to fully bloom in their new home. Please text us at 3528436858 for a link to the adoption application. ##2484485##

Story
Juniper's backstory: Circa Jan '25... in the wee small hours of the morning, we were blessed to have our personal truck (a 4x4) to access offroad jeep trails in the big scrub. We were on a mission to find an emaciated cat, posted by a good Samaritan to Facebook a few days prior. She was many miles from civilization in the Ocala National Forest... it's difficult to imagine an innocent explanation for her being THAT far out. We had GPS coordinates for navigation. She had been out in the scrub for awhile. She was famished and her skeleton visible. Her body condition score was 1/9 and even THAT felt generous. She had to take multiple small meals to prevent refeeding syndrome. When an animal is starved for a period of time, it's important to gradually re-introduce nutrition. The cat was so hungry that she wanted to eat all the food.... but her body would shut down if we allowed her to do that. She could have seizures, enter a coma or even die if we did not adhere to the precautions. *Juniper is estimated at about 4 yrs of age. She is fully vetted and gets along with other cats. She is available for adoption! ##2285940##
