What can I say about Squishmellow, or Squish for short? This sweet boy truly lives up to his name. You could not ask for a more mellow, squishable kitty. Squish loves being close to his people. He’s happiest sitting beside you or curled up in your lap if you’ll let him. He enjoys gentle contact and companionship, but he’s not overly demanding either. He’s perfectly content entertaining himself or relaxing nearby while you go about your day. He’s also proven to be a very adaptable little guy. Squish has been around a large dog and handled it with no issues at all. He’s perfectly fine with the resident cats too, even if they haven’t quite decided how they feel about him yet. Nothing seems to rattle this easygoing boy, not even the automatic vacuum. He handles the noise and movement like an absolute champ. At night, Squish sleeps safely in his own room where he can still see out into the house. He does great with this routine and stays quiet unless he’s happily entertaining himself with a toy. And then there’s his coloring. What you see is exactly what you get. Squish is basically a kitty mullet: spooky black in the front and rich chocolate brown in the back. Equal parts Halloween and hot cocoa. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate cat with a soft personality, a wonderfully weird coat, and maximum cuddle potential, Squish may just be your perfect match.
