Meet Sashimi! Sashimi is a longhaired brown tabby. Sashimi was brought into Happy Tails in February 2026 with three other female cats- Miso, Sushi, and Wasabi. Of those cats, Sashimi and Sushi are sisters. Miso and Wasabi are still at Happy Tails, and Sashimi is a Happy Tails foster. This means she is in a foster home. Though Sashimi is in a foster home, her foster is temporary. This means she is available to foster-to-adopt or to adopt. If you would like to adopt Sashimi, fill out an application and write Sashimi on it! Please consider adopting Sashimi today!

Meet Miso! Miso is a longhaired grey tabby. She is a beautiful cat. Miso was brought into Happy Tails in February 2026 with three other female cats- Sashimi, Sushi, and Wasabi. Of those cats, Miso and Wasabi are sisters. Both Miso and Wasabi are still at Happy Tails, and Sashimi is a Happy Tails foster. Miso seems to get along with other cats. She is best friends with her sister Wasabi. They spend a lot of their time snuggled up together. Miso is a cautious cat who is learning to trust and love people like she trusts and loves Wasabi. She is a cat that doesn't do as well as other cats in the shelter. Because of this, she would be a good candidate for foster. If you would like to foster Miso, please fill out an application and write foster on it! Though Miso is a good candidate for foster, she is also available for foster-to-adopt or adoption. She is a shy, serious cat who would do well in a home that is a little calmer, or by being introduced to a home a little more slowly, beginning with one room. Miso would do well in a home with other cats. If Miso could speak she would say, "Hi, I'm Miso. I'm cautious of people, but that's only because I'm still learning to love people the way they love me. I think I could be a whole different cat if I was in a home- and I would love to go to a home with my sister Wasabi, though it's alright if we don't go to the same home. Would you foster or adopt me?" Please come meet shy, serious Miso today!

Meet Stella! Stella is a longhaired, all black cat. She was brought into Happy Tails in February 2026, and she was brought in by herself. She seems to get along well with other cats. Stella is a sweet cat who likes attention but who likes people to go to her, rather than she go to them. She's shy initially but when you pet her, her shyness goes away. She is a cat who goes sort of limp when you hold her, like a ragdoll. If Stella could speak she would say, "I'm Stella and I'm so sweet but I'm often overlooked because I don't go up to people. I would like it so so much if you would come to me, sit, and get to know me. I like people so so much but sometimes I'm just not sure until you sit with me." Stella is quiet and calm and would like a home that is also quiet and calm. Please come meet Stella today!
