Story
Meet Major!Major is a sweet, gentle indoor cat that we adopted as a kitten from a Toledo, Ohio shelter in 2022. He's naturally shy and takes time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he'll happily curl up next to you on the couch in the evenings. He gets along well with our other cat so he's capable of living with another calm, cat-friendly companion, but we believe he'd do best in a quiet home with a patient person who will let him adjust at his own pace. Major is simply a reserved cat who prefers a calm environment. He's litter-box trained, has been an indoor-only cat his entire life, and has never been outside except for vet visits. He is due for his 2026 vaccinations. If you're looking for a quiet companion and understand that trust takes time, Major could be a wonderful addition to your home.

Story
Meet Chicken! Chicken is waiting for someone who understands that the best things in life are worth waiting for. Chicken came to us from a hoarding situation, so the big, exciting world can still feel a little overwhelming. She's what we like to call an “undercover sweetheart”—a girl who won't hand out her trust right away, but with patience, kindness, and time, she's learning that people can be pretty wonderful. Her perfect adopter will understand that love doesn't always happen instantly. It might start with a curious glance from across the room, followed by a cautious sniff, and eventually, something truly special: Chicken deciding that you're her safe place. She may need some time to blossom, but watching her confidence grow and her personality emerge will make every little milestone that much more meaningful. Chicken isn't looking for someone to rush her. She's looking for someone willing to wait for her. 💜🐾

Story
Meet Little Thing — A Shy Beauty Waiting to Bloom 🐾💗 Little Thing is a beautiful, shy girl who may need a little extra time to feel comfortable. New people and unfamiliar surroundings can be overwhelming, so she’ll do best with a patient family who understands that trust takes time. Give her a quiet space, gentle encouragement, and the freedom to come out of her shell at her own pace. As her confidence grows, so will her beautiful personality. Little Thing may not be the first to ask for attention, but that makes every little step toward trust even more special. Sometimes the shyest hearts just need someone patient enough to wait for them to bloom. 💕🐾
