Persian kittens & cats in Saint Joseph, Missouri

Lilo is such a sweet cat that loves human affection/being around people. She’s 2 years and 4 months old, and although I would rather not have to rehome her, she seems stressed in the presence of other cats. I have multiple cats (that she’s been around since she was a baby), and although she doesn’t dislike all of them, it seems like she needs her own space/likes her own territory. She prefers to play by herself, and there are a few that she constantly growls at when they try to play with her. However she’s never aggressive with them, her stress only causes her to urinate or poop outside the litter box sometimes (I already ruled out medical issues). I believe that she prefers human companionship over being around other animals. She’s very calm and loves it when people visit our house. I truly think her inappropriate litter box habits will completely stop once she’s the only cat in a home. I only want what’s best for her.

Heihanna came to the shelter through no fault of her own when her owner unfortunately passed. This very handsome and calm ten-year-old tuxedo with luxurious long hair had obviously been well-loved and cared for. She's adjusted well to all the changes in her recent life and enjoys meeting visitors. Heihanna would prefer a quiet home where she can enjoy her meals in peace, and we think she deserves a great new story for her middle-aged years. You can find this very pretty black and white cat in our lobby Catio, where she will probably be napping in her favorite spot. She's ready to start her next journey!
