Meet Roshan. Roshan is a 2-year-old Persian who is looking for a very special home with an experienced and patient adopter. He came to us with several other Persians who had very little socialization, and as a result, Roshan takes time to build trust and feel comfortable around new people. Potential adopters should expect to make several visits before bringing Roshan home. Building a relationship with him is essential, and he deserves an adopter who understands that trust cannot be rushed. While he may be reserved at first, we've learned that food is the key to Roshan's heart. Once he begins to feel safe, his playful personality emerges, and he enjoys gentle affection on his own terms. He likes being petted, but he'll let you know when he's had enough by simply walking away. As a Persian, Roshan requires regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and comfortable. Based on our experience, grooming has been best managed through a veterinary office, and his future adopter should be prepared for the time and expense that comes with maintaining his coat. Roshan isn't the type of cat who will instantly settle into a new home, but for someone willing to invest the time, patience, and understanding he needs, the reward will be earning the trust of a truly special cat.
