Story
This precious girl was rescued in December 2024. She was fending for herself while suffering with a broken leg. It was heartbreaking seeing her hobbling around outside and all alone. We have given her a birthday of April 20, 2024. We immediately took her to the vet. The vet’s recommendation was to wait and see if her leg could be saved….thank goodness… her leg has been saved. Her foot was bent and couldn’t be straightened out. The treatment plan was to remove the nails in the foot since they were growing into her pad and causing her pain. We do not condone declawing! Since the nails were not accessible and trimming was impossible; this only treatment plan was approved. Happy to say she is mending so well. She is walking and playing. Spayed, vaccinated, litter box trained and NOW ready for adoption. Prior to adoption, we require an application to be submitted. Story
Glory is approximately 2 to 3 years old; we have given her a birthday of August 1. 2022. This stunning long hair beauty has spent her short life living outside with a colony. The care givers of this colony pulled her aside because she unlike a feral…she is very loving, friendly and accepting of belly rubs. She follows the volunteers and clearly wants human interaction. She will likely take patience and some time to convert into being a full time indoor cat, We are confident that she will adapt quickly. She is scheduled to be spayed on January 21, 2025. She is already litter box trained. Her adoption fee is $150 (includes spay, vaccinations and vet fees). Prior to adoption, we require an application to be submitted. Story
Stunning 6 year old male sweetheart. Lush long black fur. He is shy at first meeting. He is not in the care nor at the Sanctuary. This is a courtesy post. All questions are to go to Paul Valle. (843) 499-6859. Adoption fee TBD. He has been triple tested and tested negative on all three tests. The Feline Triple Test is a rapid, in-clinic blood test screening for three major feline diseases: Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), and Feline Heartworm (FeHW), usually done with a single blood sample in about 10 minutes using a SNAP test. It helps veterinarians quickly detect these potentially lethal infections, which compromise the immune system or affect the heart and lungs, enabling early management and preventing spread, recommending annual testing for all cats. What It Tests For • FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus): A retrovirus that attacks the immune system, leading to cancer, anemia, and secondary infections. • FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus): Similar to human AIDS, it weakens the immune system, making cats vulnerable to other illnesses. • Feline Heartworm (FeHW): Parasitic worms in the heart, lungs, and blood vessels, even affecting indoor cats.
