UPDATE 5-14-25: Bailey (formerly Sassy Amber) was adopted from us several weeks ago and was not doing well in her new home due to being bullied by the other cats in the home. Rather than continue to stress out their senior cats, the adopters made the difficult decision to return Bailey. She is looking for her new forever home and would do best in a home without other cats or with very mild mannered kitties who would not bully her. PICTURE OF MATTED FUR IN THE PHOTOS, just a heads up for when looking at her photos. Meet Bailey! Bailey is a 2-3 year old tabby Persian cat. She originally came with the name Sassy, but we have found she is not so sassy behaviored, so we have been calling her Sassy Amber. Since she was adopted, her new moms were calling her Bailey with good response from her. Bailey has been a cat of many names! She came from a home where she was not being properly cared for, and her fur was matted to the skin resulting in an unfortunate shave down. Bailey is feeling much better after losing her matted fur, and is really coming out of her shell in rescue care. Bailey is used to a quiet calm environment and will seek out attention on her own terms. She has been introduced to a few other adult cats in rescue care, but keeps to herself. She has been spayed, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested negative, dewormed, and currently on flea/tick prevention. ***You may notice that Bailey's adoption fee is higher than our other cats; because she is a Persian cat and will require life long grooming to thrive. She had a very lengthy shave down and we would like to avoid another for her sake.

This beauty is shy initially (as in a couple of weeks) but once she feels secure, she is your best pal. She's a quiet and observant girl. Watching the world go by while calmly resting is her style.  Patsy  would do best in a quiet home.
